September 23, 2021 - Aging nicely--golden color. Good acidity. Slightly oxidized apple flavor. Enjoyed at the Haslams.

July 25, 2021 - Better than expected for the age. Needs a decant or ample time in the bottle as it got better with time. Medium gold color. Nose of lemon, cream, and even some brioche. Wine is biting and a little funky, probably past prime, but settles down while in the mouth for a bit. Medium finish.

July 13, 2018 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. paired with sushi. selected this bottle due to varying opinions regarding longevity. didn't want to risk holding any longer. the truth proved to be somewhere in the middle as the wine appears to be in an ideal point in its drinking window. a very impressive wine. has put on some weight since when last tasted on 10/14/2016. still shows extraordinary balance. generous citrus fruit along with some apple. slightly buttery. minimal oak. overall, a remarkable expression of the grape seven years after the vintage. the winemaker note rings true. glad to have enjoyed now.

October 14, 2016 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. selected this bottle because recent notes from others have been less than favorable. was worried that i may have kept it too long. this bottle was in good condition. generous nose. firm in the mouth. nice balance between citrus fruit, acidity and a hint of butter. will probably hang on to the remaining bottle until next spring to see if it develops further.
