  December 16, 2015 - Clear bright ruby. Earth, forest floor, berry, a hint of turmeric on the light but delicately textured nose. Clear focus on the palate, plenty of acid with a nice juicy under-layer of good pinot fruit, rising at the back to an elegant finish. A lovely wine with emerging complexity beyond its initial simple but elegant presentation. 50 + 16 + 16 + 8.

  June 11, 2015 - Same notes as last time, as the wine has bright cherry fruit with a little sweetness along with balanced acidity. Not bad for $17.50.

  April 9, 2015 - This wine has a lovely light red color, but the nose is reticent to show itself. However, on the palate, it has bright cherry fruit with a little sweetness along with balanced acidity. It is true that it is not overly complex, but for $18, it is a very fine Pinot noir. In fact, it is one of the best weeknight wines that I have had in a while.

  September 10, 2013 - Very wild out of the bottle. After about two hours, much more drinkable. Fruits eventually opened up, notes of green apple and cherry strongest. Very light body as typical for a pinot. Not a lot of complexity. Maybe I should have waited to open this one.
