February 1, 2024 - Pale garnet with turbidity in appearance. The rim has a distinctive discolouration, indicating age.
The nose has a base of red fruits such as cherries with a hard surface, with rich and deep aromas of sweet spice, tobacco, tar, and floral notes such as mint and violet.
The palate is cool and damp, with fine lines.
Not much structure on the palate, but the concentration is high. The tannins are fully integrated into the fruit flavours, the texture is silky, and there is a vivacity and cheerfulness to the crisp acidity that sizzles in the mouth.
Everything is in harmony. Beautiful. -

August 16, 2021 - Took 90 minutes to open up, out of the bottle this was very closed and austere. With a bit of air, it became extremely fragrant and juicy. Could use more time or else plenty of time in the decanter, but this is very nice and elegant.
