March 3, 2023 - (Oswalds) really peaking and possibly in a slight downslope Recommend serving cool as the only dig on the gorgeous wine is relatively low acidity. Mature / secondary nose full of leather and roasted meat; less peppery than previously Very long and deep. Garrigue. A contemplative and intellectual wine at this perhaps more than delicious but any Cote rotie fan will be thrilled.

July 10, 2022 - Rhône Tasting-cum-Lunch (Restaurant Rijsel, Amsterdam, NL): Very smoky nose, fresh and tannic, medicinal, menthol, tight and structured, showing very well but an outlier aromatically.

October 31, 2021 - quite typical. char, smoked meat, tobacco, pepper, red and black fruits. compelling nose. well made

December 26, 2020 - A lean, contemplative wine. Showed best on the nose in a burg stem after an hour and a half open--smoke, meat, tobacco, pepper and whiffs of something floral. Less interesting on the palate, red and black fruits with ample acidity. Bit of oak on the aftertaste.

May 1, 2019 - Jamet and Rostaing at the Harwood Arms (Harwood Arms, Fulham): Quite evolved appearance, garnet, touch of mahogany. Very florally nose, red fruit, spice. Medium bodied, elegant, floral, silky, spicy fresh, harmonious finish. Lovely.
