May 15, 2023 - Not quite ready. Great impact and balance, quite delicious at first, but the tannin caught up with me after a little while. I found that it was not so good with food as the tannin was so prominent, but I did enjoy it on its own. I guess that quite a few years might be needed, Just as well the corks are excellent.

January 23, 2022 - By the glass. The intensity of raspberries is mixed with a forest sawmill. This presence of oak is noticeable in excess on the palate with a thick texture and a very dry finish. Needing an extra time.

Por copas. La intensidad de las frambuesas se entremezclan con el aserradero del bosque. Esa presencia del roble se nota en exceso al paladar con una textura gruesa y un final muy seco. Necesita un tiempo extra.

August 3, 2019 - Southern Rhône trip with Rainer. Tasted at wine shop VINOBOAM in Beaune. Interesting alcohol statement on the label: 12.5% - 13.5%. €69. Medium to light ruby. Red fruit, earthy notes, spices and mild vegetal notes, with slightly tart acidity, slightly drying tannin and very good length. Left you with a very dry mouth. Austere. I am not a fan of the wine at its current stage. NR

January 17, 2015 - Dark red. Smoke and strawberry on the nose. A broad muscular tannic wine on the palate but still with a sense of harmony and elegance. Red berry and leather are energized by good acidity. This certainly speaks of where it is from. All the wines I have tasted from this domaine seem very honest and straight forward. Not fantastically sexy but very well made. They are wines that let the grapes do the talking.
