January 23, 2024 - What a sleeper of a wine - I rarely drink this wine but it always positively surprises. Initially a bit sweet, almost syrupy, but this blew off to reveal a very good wine. It stood proudly with some excellent Bordeaux, top Nth Rhône & Aussie 1st Classifieds. Plum, chocolate, pepper, dry herbs. Lovely balance and structure.

December 25, 2023 - Aging gracefully, I'd say. Still rich on the nose, fresh on the palate, and deeply coloured. Lots of primary blackberry fruit, but also secondary notes of leather, earth, smoke, white pepper, and graphite on the finish. Juicy mouthfeel, attractive tannins, a balanced wine that was unmistakably an aussie shiraz but elegantly so.

August 3, 2022 - Colour: brownish / garnet
Nose: Leather, musk, pepper, raisin, dark berry fruit. Very perfumed.
Palette: Menthol, blackberries, pepper, liquorice, milk chocolate, cream, raspberries, some earthiness.
Vey long, creamy and rich palette.
Absolutely superb, even after 23 years.
Wont improve, but if cellered well may last a few more years before it declines.
