September 9, 2008 - Good fruit but with a tight finish and harsh. Harshness and alcohol taste increased. Probably too old.

February 17, 2008 - Surprisingly good, given the 84 point CT community average rating. Thought this was quite good immediately on uncorking. Nose offered dark fruit of jammy blueberries giving way to licorice and clove spice. Flavors start with black cherry with some earthy, mineral and cola notes. A longer finish would have made this outstanding. Probably not enough structure here to have any more upside. Drink in 2008.
