January 17, 2020 - The wine (tasted blind) was decanted for roughly 30 minutes and displayed a lovely aromatic profile including black currant, blackberry, white pepper and a delicate floral component. These core fruits tinged with spice were evident on the palate, resulting in a lovely expression of Mclaren Vale that possessed impressive balance and length. This wine is currently at its peak, but may be cellared for up to 8 more years.

    October 12, 2017 - Good wine from a sub-optimal vintage.

August 10, 2016 - Tasted blind. Very ripe, with notes of dishwashing soap. Too sweet and ripe on the palate for my taste.

January 6, 2016 - Nice wine..ruby red in color good fruit no the nose......slightly over ripe. Good balance of fruit no tannin to speak of a good hit of white pepper due to vintage. Dont think it will get any better but but not yet starting to slide. Great wine for a difficult vintsge.Drink till 2020. Well done drew.
