February 10, 2018 - Saturday in Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA): Late night, brief note. Green apple with good richness in the middle. Very good length for its level.

May 5, 2017 - Lovely matchstick and gun powder minerality with lemony fruit and acidity. Unmistakle oak, but not all that buttery. Really lovely wine that would be spectacular were it not for the ending being bitter like biting into the white of a citrus fruit. The last part was not noticable when drinking with food though.

December 15, 2016 - Tart apple and lemon drop. Long for its level with plenty of acidity and richness for Auxey Villages. Finishes slightly more tart than I'd prefer, but still great for its level.

September 6, 2014 - Quite fresh and chiseled, nice intensity, bright, stony, lemony; strong acidity, but not in any way tart or undeveloped; finishes with good extract and a wave of lime citrus. Beautiful summer wine.
