Community Tasting Notes 1

February 13, 2015 - Drank for dinner at Taverna Spanish restaurant in Washington, DC. Inceredible Cab blend that without knowing could have doubled for a Valbuena 07. This cab was balanced, with dark dark garnet color to the rim with strong structured legs. Black fruit that was balanced with oak and tannins and while it will probably improve in time it is drinking EXTREMELY well now. This is a wine that surprised me and now I would seek more and I don't normally drink CA wines. One for the collection for sure.
