  April 27, 2020 - Up just a smidge from a year ago because of night 2, in which I tried to accept this wine for what it was, which is a very mild medium bodied Cab. I didn't quite get the lovely terroir an earlier note described but it was a reasonably enjoyable glass of wine. Night 1 suffered because I had a glass after a Hobbs tasting and the regular Hobbs Cab, besides being $40 more, was quite a bit more interesting. Still under no circumstance can I call this a good QPR at $65. I have the 2015, a more muscular year, and will try that soon as perhaps this is better younger.

  March 1, 2019 - This remains a wonderful Napa cab. Probably too much minerality for many napa aficionados but in the same way Pessac Leognon has that extra grip in Bordeaux, this provides a wonderful expression of a different terrior

  January 12, 2019 - Maybe not fair as I have a cold, but didn't get much from this. Nothing really wrong with it, just not as distinctive and flavorful as I expected from a Cab with this age and pedigree.

  December 27, 2017 - Underwhelming ... I'm disappointed. Although the wine looked fresh after a 90 minute decant, the nose and palate were very muted and muddled ... couldn't tell what I was smelling or tasting. Maybe I waited too long to drink it ... meh.
