April 7, 2021 - Last bottle. If I still had ten more it would not be enough, as this is youthful, graceful, refreshing, and invigorating. It’s full of the classic Grüner watercress, aligned to white peach, and a splash from an icy cold alpine stream. Maybe it’s my “glacial cellar”, but if you said this was three years old, not seventeen, I would believe it. Wonderful swan song, and a strong reminder that I do not drink (or buy) enough Grüner Veltliner.

October 14, 2015 - At Erbaluce. Not much different from 12/13.Fills the mouth like a fine white Burgundy but the ripe flavors are of cress and peas. Not much black pepper at this point. A very good match for a tomato/basil/turnip pizza, not so much for a crab and lobster soup. Drink or hold.

December 1, 2014 - The nose is effusive with wet chalk, lemon zest, peach and some tropical fruits. As the wine opens up, there is also a saline/seaweed component to the nose. All of this is also found on the palate along with a savory, brothy component that especially kicks in at the back end. This has intensity, complexity and precision. Best white wine I've had this year and a wonderful pairing with buckwheat and smoked salmon crepes.

August 2, 2014 - A bit cheeky lemon chewing-gum nose, very fine white pepper, overall very spicey bouquet, structure seems very fresh and slender for a Lamm; impressive

Taste ist far more beefy, showes plenty of masculin lemon (zest) flavours, great white pepper, some guava and white peach, hint of dextrose, slight nuttily alc flavour, nice petrol undercurrant,
very good length and extremely juvenile for a 10 year old GV. No need to rush ...
