October 21, 2018 - get it blindly, one of the best 1999 I had
so lean, so pure, milk chocolate, toffee, ripe lemons, great structure for this vintage. 94-95

November 21, 2011 - Light gold with medium to light mousse with slightly coarse bubbles. Very delicate Cramant nose. Subtle but weighty. A touch of chalk and a vague hint of ripe green apple. Held back rather than feeble. In the mouth this simply coats the palate with extract and yet the flavours are again subtle. There is some development here with a hint of butterscotch and white mushroom but there is also more than a hint of the primary with an almost ozone-like dry chalkiness and simple, weighty, yet undeveloped fruit. This will age on its extract rather than acidity which is notably low, but it's likely to be another five years from full-blown maturity. If it does make it (and it won't have a firm mousse by then for sure) it will easily be worth another four or five points. Easily the most backward wine I've had from this vintage and potentially a real success for the vintage.

May 11, 2009 - Savoury sherbert lemons, the last dregs showed some caramel when warmed up, a baby.

September 28, 2006 - DAvid Bowler Tasting (the rest of the notes) (NYC): nose again of apple cider (yum!) more elegant, citrus middle, minerality. complex stuff
