September 26, 2020 - Even if over the recommended drinking date this wine was very fruity and drinkable. Acidity gave a great balance with the super smooth tannins. I will buy more and store in the cellar.

February 22, 2015 - Medium purple in color, this wine showed cedar, cassis. cherry compote and dried plums on the nose. The mouth feel was medium bodied with ever softening tannins and added elements of violets and lavender. The finish was tight at first but opened up nicely over the course of the 90 minutes the bottle was open.

Purchased for $14US, this is a well made, thoroughly enjoyable bottle that clearly shows is place of origin. It has enough upfront fruit to keep New World wine fans happy also.

Imported by HB Wine Merchants, New York, NY. A R. Shack Selection.

June 18, 2013 - Had at a traditional french bistro - great wine for the price - cedar notes, heavy tannins at first - softened and opened up after an hour. Ended up being a nice wine.
