  February 6, 2015 - When first opened, this wine has a meaty nose that reminds me of peppered beef jerky. This slowly blows off, revealing the dark blackberry fruit and notes of cocoa and vanilla I noted a year ago; black pepper lingers. This has more bottle bouquet at this age though, I'm picking up a leather note and cedar dust. Tannins are extremely soft and fine, I believe they will be completely resolved in 2-3 years. Still a very balanced wine from the nose through the finish. Drinking extremely well now, but I think I'll hold my last bottle for at least another year just to see how this evolves.

  February 9, 2013 - PNP deep dark and thick with soft tannins , blackberry fruit nice finish. bottle had sediment on sides and bottom.

  January 22, 2013 - Nice balance on this wine. Big, dark berry flavors, some cocoa, vanilla and earth mixed in there as well. Surprisingly soft tannins. A value at the price paid.
