April 15, 2014 - I thought this was good. Shared with family over a dinner of homemade sloppy joes, of all things. Beautifully dark in color, smoky in the nose and dark berry on the palate with a long finish. I'll likely save my other bottle for myself!

November 14, 2013 - Garnet colored with medium legs; alcoholic aroma with black pepper and light vanilla taste, some cherry fruit; light bodied, satin texture with a medium finish. Had this wine with spicy chicken, but would go well with lamb chops and steak.

October 24, 2013 - Deep purple color. Nose of rich vanilla and chocolate. Huge blob of black fruits, cassis, licorice, chocolate/mocha. Spicy and peppery. Big flavor without focus but goes well with steak.
