Etter et par timer i karaffel åpner den seg fint.
Solmodne kirsebær, roser, krydder, svakt appelsinskall og hint av tjære.
God intensitet på duften.
Fortsatt fremstår den som relativt ungdommelig.
Slank og stram på smak med kjølig frukt.
Røff, men likevel relativt elegant.
Konsentrasjonen er bra og blir supplert med en ypperlig friskhet i vinen.
Godt strukturert vin som har mange gode år foran seg.
En tøff vin, men koser jeg meg? Definitivt!
Dessverre min siste flaske - hadde gjerne smakt den igjen både 5 og 10 år fremover.
Finishen meget lang med presisjon og godt markante tanniner.
Kan med hell slipes ned litt mer.
Det lages nydelig Nebbiolo utenfor Langhe også.
Et strålende kjøp (820,- for magnum syv år siden) 92p+ -

January 1, 2021 - Very much in line with the previous note. Not much, if any, development since then. Firm tannins with a drying finish. A wine that clearly benefits from food with its rough edges and stemmy tannin structure. Lots of personality and if the cork holds, a wine that can age with grace. (this particular cork didn't had many years left...)
