September 4, 2013 - A very nice wine that when decanted makes marked improvement when given time to open. Seductive dark ruby purple-red color, subtle, muted nose, with viscous legs on the side of the glass. On the palate, medium dark fruit, oak, pencil led shavings, decent mouthfeel. A good wine that is just shy of 90. A very good everyday type cab, but not over the top. I have 3 bottles, but I will give this wine time to evolve.

June 16, 2013 - The is a wonderful, masculine wine. Big, dark fruit with the right balance of acid and tannins. Dark fruit, rosemary on the nose. More dark fruit and chocolate on the mid-palate. Firm tannins on the long finish.
