May 23, 2016 - Don't agree with other reviewers. It may be that the wine has laid down longer. I found it quite enjoyable. The price is right too for this wine.

May 2, 2013 - Agree with all the other reviewers--this underperforms and there are a lot of better chiantis out there. It's light in a diluted way, as if they added water to make 11 bottles' worth of wine fill 12 bottles. But where that would have been disappointing with a meaty main course, it was actually rather perfect for a summery main dish tomato-mozzarella-basil salad.

April 18, 2013 - Black cherry, leather, and orange peel on the nose. Medium-bodied, with sour cherry and some earth on the palate. Simple, decent acidity, abrupt finish. Ten bucks.
