Community Tasting Notes 2

November 19, 2022 - Delicious wine. Quite concentrated. Notes of red fruit, plum, licorice, spice, cloves, chocolate and coffee. Delicious with the lasagna a la Sonja. Would have been even better if there had been some fennel in the dish. Or it was a touch sweet so would have benefited from some spice.

December 27, 2020 - Delicious, rich, viscous wine. Notes of coffee, chocolate, plum, licorice, spices and some sweetness. Reminiscent of an Amarone. Best on its own. Not bad with pasta but (surprisingly) not as tasty with our roast, herbal rack of lamb.
