November 3, 2023 - (JM's Lamb Plov) Dark leafy berries, savoury clean, some toasted capsicum, sweet leafy bramble. Layers and layers, translucent autumn notes. Smoke and ash, savoury mushroom, soysauce, a streak of greenwood, and bright acidity. Drinking at a great place right now.

April 13, 2020 - 2 years after last tasting this still held very nice. Purple in the glass with a clear brownish edge. A nice, mature nose. The wine still has a good acidic backbone, with a gentle palate of blackcurrant and earth. Excellent with our Côte de Boeuf.

March 26, 2018 - 2nd wine from famous Pomerol estate Eglise-Clinet. In the glass light purple with slight brown edges. Nice, fruit nose. On the palate nice fruit, with only a hint of tertiary aromas, with a long, bit dry finish. Overall younger in appearance, than i expected and showing really nice.

February 22, 2018 - Didn't take formal notes but this was really outstanding. Wish I had more.

February 25, 2017 - Really enjoyed this, 96 up there with one of my favourite Bordeaux vintages. Mid weight, grippy tannins, cedar and smooth dark red red fruits on the palate. Has good length and complexity, generous fruits that really doesn't feel like it is fading too fast. In a great spot now but don't think it will fall over in a hurry. Got to love aged Bordeaux.
