November 25, 2013 - PnP, no waiting. In the glass: Medium garnet, slow thin legs. On the nose: Hot tart cherries, whiff of meat, minerals, smoke. In the mouth: Light mouth feel, tart red berries, some light dry tannins, tart down the throat, some heat pokes through in the light finish. Its getting better with some air. Meh, its ok. Nothing really to complain about, but nothing outstanding either. We'll see how the current vintage goes.

February 25, 2013 - PnP. No waiting. In the glass: Clear bright ruby, weak legs. On the nose: Red fruit, tart raspberry, faint spice. In the mouth: light mouth feel, tart raspberry, a little cherry, some bitter down the throat, no tannins, no finish to speak of, kinda monosyllabic. There's nothing really wrong with this, but there are so many better pinots out there. Not worth the retail of $20.
