February 20, 2014 - Had the 2012 at Purple and thought it was 5 points better at least

June 3, 2013 - The nose was muted upon opening. Decanting an hour or so helped tremendously. Simple but good Pinot fruit here - plums, rhubarb, orange peel, strawberries and herbal notes come through on the nose. It has a good, balanced mouth feel with moderate acidity and plush tannins. Good QPR. This is comparable to the handful of very good 2011 WV blends I've had at this price.

May 5, 2013 - A little tannic and harsh right now, but mellowed very nicely on the counter overnight. I'd save for at least a couple years.

May 4, 2013 - Lighter bodied Pinot with dominant earth on Day 1, settling down with softer red fruit showing on Day 2. Burgundian style, but not my style.

February 5, 2013 - great qpr. very light and quite lean. burgundy like mouhfeel with medium plus acidity and lower alcohol , the acid is what gives this wine structure. on the palate i kept getting a nice maple thing as well as some cherry and raspberry.nice herbal notes as well ,kind of rhone like.not super long on the finish but decent.
