  November 25, 2023 - Pretty and bright nose with lots of lemon notes, green apple, lime, schist, and minerals. The palate is rich, yet very well balanced, with good acidity, more lemon and green apple notes, and a bit of malolactic character. Long finish. Really lovely wine that is in a great spot right now. Tasted next to the 2015 Chalasses, I initially preferred the Marguerite, but the Chalasses really blossomed with air, while the Marguerite did not.

  December 13, 2017 - Held on to this one for some years now - It did not let me down! Rich and creamy but the acidity underneath really held it togethter. Beautiful!

  November 4, 2016 - A business dinner (Restaurant De Librije ***, Zwolle, Netherlands): No detailed notes. Magnum. Melon à queue rouge, planted in 1900. Four years to the day since I last tasted this. It has developed well, good weight, full body, apple and citrus, silky and well-balanced, hint of honey, flavoursome but elegant, very good length.
