Community Tasting Notes 3

June 4, 2013 - Bright tart Gruner. Not uninteresting as some of the domestic examples I have had, and nothing you would kick out of bed.
Acidity is wonderful, I would like a bit more texture and aromatics.
Its improving with an hour of air, I suspect a few years of cellaring would reward.
Nice finish with lingering acid and saline notes.

November 14, 2012 - No detailed notes. Just recall a very fresh, fragrant, intensely fruity but bone dry wine. Lovely.

November 6, 2012 - white flowers taught white peach and nectarine skin on the nose with tinges of sea salt and green arugula, concentrated and clean, with alcohol in check and the fruit showing peak ripeness.on the palate much of the complexity is overpowered by tart lemon and peach pitt. not quite the complexity of smaragd but a dead ringer for great mid priced wachau federspiel
