May 23, 2022 - This pours light gold in the glass, with faint flecks of green. Age had been very kind to this bottle and it’s drinking really well. The nose is lifted and complex of key lime pie, green apple, light petrol touches, white flower blossoms, chalk, and light rubbery reduction. The palate is lovely featuring and off dry profile replaying key lime pie and green apple. Sugar feels like 20-30 g/l RS, with medium plus acid and a medium plus finish. Quite nice all in all and classically Alsatian to my palate.

April 5, 2015 - This wine was regarded as a stunner by all at the table. Complex yet approachable; peach, apricot touch of mint. Drink by 2011? Hah!

November 17, 2012 - From a half bottle. If I had this blind I would swear its a Clare riesling. Lots of the same lemon curd and lime peel that you get from Clare riesling. A tiny of of petrol as well. Very wide on the palate and long on the finish. If I can be extremely picky, it lacked acid for me as I prefer a differant style of riesling but this wine flat out killed. Went great with a Rabbit Terrine at Will in South Philly.

August 13, 2012 - Golden. Nose of a minerally Riesling with a hint of spice. Taste hits the tongue like a moderately sweet wine but the rest of the tongue belies this. Citric, mangoe and dried flowers with acidity lifting the end. Quite nice. I forget how wonderful Alsace Riesling can be.

December 18, 2011 - It opened a Winter, French country meal and was outstanding.
