March 22, 2020 - Tons of red fruit and good acid. Tannins have fully integrated. Secondary flavors just starting to arrive.

March 15, 2020 - Big and lush from the start. Black fruit, blueberry, vanilla, tobacco with background notes of pepper- although subtle and integrated. Tannins have subdued to make this drinkable now. We’ll balanced acidity comes in for a nice, long finish. Excellent!

February 21, 2020 - Library release for the wine club.......initial pop, lots of prune on the nose. This dissipated quickly into a very minimal pruney/raisiny component with soft red fruited entry, gentle aged tannins and a gentle finish. This was a very pleasant surprise.........still plenty of depth to the fruit. Quite a wonderful wine. In a secondary window right now. My wife thought it was a cab! But, in her defense, she nailed the score when quizzed.......

November 23, 2019 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (T&L's): Double blind. Opens with a ripe raisiny note, and it's a touch hot, but there's also some nice dark plummy fruit underneath that follows through on the palate. Fairly well-balanced, it's got structure but also an abundance of good dark fruit. I'd rate it a bit higher if the raisin notes weren't evident. Medium+ finish. I believe I guessed Napa cab...I think one taster (RG?) did pick it out as merlot.
