September 24, 2016 - Powerful. Spicy nose, rich deep berry flavors, firm tannins, great mouthfeel. Killer with a charcoal-grilled flank steak.

March 8, 2015 - We decanted this bottle for half an hour before the meal, and our first impression was that it was still much too young. But it continued to develop, with first the spice coming forward, then the slight tang of the copper terroir, then the berry. Then a fog settled over it and we thought it was done, but then at about the two-hour mark the fog blew off and it settled into something quite wonderful.
