March 12, 2018 - Farewell to Choi (Peter's): Deep black fruit. Slightly raisinated and at the same time this is very much pyrazinic - green olive, stewed peppers, and menthol. Ripe palate. Bitter. Good tannins and medium acid.

April 11, 2016 - Opened one hour before pairing with grilled, oven-finished top loin strip steaks. A dark ruby in the glass, the nose features black cherry, plum, blackberry and oak spice. Very juicy, medium-bodied Cabernet with mostly a red-fruited character along with oak spices and maybe just a tinge of vanilla. Very delicious wine to accompany the simply prepared steaks.
