December 14, 2018 - Wild and energetic, it has strength and intensity, it starts dark and closed and then unleashes its typicality and its desire to emerge

October 19, 2015 - Tasting at Giuseppe Rinaldi (Barolo, Piedmont, Italy): Big nose has black fruit and smoky, spicy notes. Round and quite fresh in the mouth. Light-to-medium bodied from start through to a long, clean finish.

Medium pluss lengde. Bør nok lagres minst tre år til.

September 7, 2015 - Full-throttle and unapologetic.... The nose is intense, with dark red and black fruit, licorice, coco powder, sweet herbs and exotic spice. On the palate, it displays an explosion of dark ripe fruits with a pulse of zesty acidity, as it travels quickly across the senses, and leaves a bit of heat in the close. The finish shows last notes of blackberry, cherry and licorice with a twang of bitterness on the back palate.

There's a hint of volatility here on the palate, but the end result is still so enjoyable.
