June 23, 2015 - Light gold colour. A nose of apple and cloves, very inviting and fresh. The palate has a buttery apple fruit with a zingy finish. I tasted this wine blind and my notes conclude "Delicious". When the wine was revealed it was of no great surprise it was an ABC, I'm a big fan of Jim Clendenen's wines. This wine and his Wild Boy Chardonnay were voted top 2 of five US white wines we tasted.

October 15, 2013 - Delicious; Great new world fruit with plenty of acid; Drinks great on its own and would work well with food

July 1, 2013 - Buttery, creamy. Complex - smokey notes with hints of fruit, but lacking a middle? Not bad.

July 1, 2013 - I'm a big fan of his wines and this was wonderful. Drunk at Berry Brothers tasting. Nose has some vanilla and spice. The palate is rich and creamy, with texture and flavour of apple strudel with a lovely buttery finish. This is very much a Meursault style of wine. Excellent.

June 19, 2013 - As textbook as it get s for a Cali Chardonnay with all the forward good qualities hand in hand with all the predictable and uninspiring bits of a cali chardonnay. Enough oak for another ark and so on. At least the alc level is in check at 13.5%. Its a good wine don’t get us wrong but also uninspiring.85-87
