January 29, 2022 - So glad we let this age a bit, excellent riesling! Served with sushi. Great tropical fruit, green apple, hint of peach, a little minerality, dry, nice acidity, medium finish, very nice!

February 5, 2018 - Aging nicely, quite dry with high acidity, not too complex but a tasty and versatile white that could pass for a Chablis or good quality muscadet.

October 12, 2017 - Opened with blackened Chilean Sea Bass. Restrained with limited petrol character and a good core of fruit. Great acidity keeps it fresh. A pleasure to drink.

July 1, 2017 - (tried at Oinoscent via Coravin)
Very extrovert, citrus, mineral, flinty, med to high (perceived) acidity, rubber notes, ripe tropical fruit, candied mango.
In the palate, you get the same profile again, but with higher intensity, med body, fine structure and long finish.
Still quite youthful, utterly interesting and impressive, this is what Alsace can do

  • Beerzebub Likes this wine:

October 27, 2016 - Aromatic golden apple/white peach, flowers and candied lime, with lighter accents of pine, petrol, stone. Similar flavors, fruity, floral, fleshy, very slightly off dry (or at least the impression of a hint of sweetness) which works well, with nice balancing acidity although more wouldn't be a bad thing. Fairly straightforward, with plenty of Alsatian typicity almost as if there's a little Gewurztraminer thrown in; tasty, drinkable, enjoyable wine. Still has some nice freshness and is drinking well; no compelling reason not to drink now.
