January 21, 2010 - Disappointing. Some fruit at first but a bitter aspect, which was not present the next day, but then neither were the good aspects.

June 2, 2004 - Well darn it, drank this one too young. Dark ruby, with an aroma that screams "pinot." Tons of dark red fruit, with a strong mineral/earthy element underlying it all. Lots of structure and tannins, mouth-puckering a bit on the finish, very dense and firm. Enjoyable, but probably would have mellowed (esp the finish) with more age.
