December 6, 2014 - Big rich nose. Mildly fruity, plummy, slightly stewed, with that monolithic aroma peculiar to Meads (of Mead!) ... at the same time pungent, but a bit flat/dead, too. Touch of heat showing (16.7% ABV).
Better on the palate. Rich, slightly fruity, even some acidity on the back end, but still soft. Quite sweet, rich, & honeyed (Ha Ha!). Not much more to say, unfortunately. Recommended by a (beer) friend who (obviously) likes Mead-y things a lot better than I do.
