May 19, 2024 - Tasted this with 4 other 1995 Bourdeauxs, and this was the favorite of the group (#2 of 5 for me). Decanted for about 3 hours. Delicious wine.
13.2% alcohol was the highest of the group, and the nose had a distinct smell of nail polish. It was probably one of my least favorite noses of the group of 5, but it more than made up for it on the palate. Tastes of cigars, leather, and plums with some tart raspberries. Still had plenty of fruit left after 29 years. Smooth and pleasant finish. -

July 17, 2007 - Very good. Needed a hour or so to open, very smooth, mellow tanins, seemed to get bigger as the night went on. Would by again.
