August 28, 2020 - Crisp and opulent, this is delicious now with huge upside. More approachable than 13 today.

September 5, 2019 - Very nervous, moving forward. Crushed rock, orchard fruit, flinty, green apple sensation on the palate. You are not drinking this wine but the wine is drinking you. I bet this wine has another 10 years but I really enjoy this energetic nervous style right now.

October 9, 2018 - Oak and orchard fruits on the nose. Great acidity and minerality, but the wood tannins are strong and bitter on the palate, especially after time in the glass. Needs lots of time to resolve the influence of oak, and it’s not clear to me that it will get there gracefully. In comparison, the 2012 Genevrières was riper, but displayed none of the oak bitterness.

April 27, 2018 - Has a ripe and expressive nose of peach, almond butter, honeysuckle and spice. As it hits the mouth orchard fruit flavour floods every crevice. It is generous, charming and unctuous and its minerality kicks in on the back-end providing freshness and cut. It has awesome power and length is superb.

December 9, 2017 - At L’Ambroisie in Paris and stellar with the seafood dishes. Intense minerality and so very fine acidity. Very open.
