August 13, 2023 - We were blinded and pretty sure we were in Burgundy, yet there was a sweet ripeness in the finish that evoked notions of cdp. I believe the barrels were sourced from drc but there was no grandeur here, no spice, just a pleasing and easy drinking wine.

January 10, 2017 - Definitely grand cry quality here. Penetrating with lots of fruit forward. Undertones of secondary flavors just developing. This is not a big wine but can definitely last longer. I'd keep it 304 more years and try it again.

November 9, 2008 - Tasting Group Dinner - Burgundy (Cafe Levain, Minneapolis): Complex, layered flavors of Asian spice/hoisin sauce, earth, and sappy dark fruit. Savory sushi wrapper/umami flavors. Nicely balanced oak treatment. Long finish. Delicious. Wines like this are forcing me to re-evaluate my bias against this producer.
