September 26, 2021 - Drank over several days and the wine just keep improving. Dark red fruit with earthy and mineral notes. The tannins started notable and refined over three days. Palate intense with great potential. This needs at least five more years.

July 14, 2017 - Intense nose of raspberry, spice, maraschino cherries. Good acidity, nice balance, good structure. Missing a little Terroir/ burgundy charm but a very well constructed pinot. I'm sure this will gain complexity with time.

October 23, 2015 - Medium ruby, huge blackberry cherry, underbrush. Mouth filling and lovely.

October 23, 2015 - 2015 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/19/2015-10/27/2015 (New York City, NY): Intense aromas of rose petals, raspberry, cherry and cocoa are front and center on this medium ruby-colored wine. Medium-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic and with medium-weight tannins, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose, accented by just the right amount of oak. Gaining traction in the middle, it closes long and with some tannic grip. As elegant and beautiful as this is right now, there is no doubt that patience will be rewarded. Drink 2018-2027.

June 13, 2014 - Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2014 Day 5: Volnay and Meursault, Corton 3-21-14: Stewed fruit. Nope, no way. Cali-style wine. What is the problem at Tollot-Beaut?!
