Community Tasting Notes 1

December 23, 2012 - Purple-ruby, med concentration. Textbook Claret on the nose, cassis, oak, cedar, coffea and cream. Has a milky, lactic aspect that carries over to the palate, ripe red fruits, full bodied, lead pencils, medium tannins. Finishes with a rush of red fruits and acidity. This ain't half bad, needs time but by the looks of it things will turn out well. Very primary but no sign of the blowsiness of 2009. Good acidity and fresh fruit. Excellent value. 89+
