  October 8, 2018 - Much more evolved than the 2009 Clos des Papes tasted alongside. Open and expressive nose, concentrated cherry fruit, some notes of dried fruit, spices, earth, smoke. On the palate rather unbalanced - not much fruit with sharp acidity, especially towards the finish. Drying. Drink up. 86-88

  Big nose, nutty, marzipan
  Firm tannins, funky, quite a bit of VA, then creamy and long
  One that, I think needs a good decant and food

  October 29, 2014 - Deep crimson in color. Nose of plum, cherry and a bit of anise. A bit port-like with flavors of cherry and plum. Dy on the finish. Drinking well, but I would not hold this.
