    September 7, 2015 - Big nose right away upon opening. Spice, cinnamon apple, strawberry, blackberry. First sip very fruity and slightly sweet. Opening up to be spicy and herbal. Delicious.

    April 3, 2014 - Poured cool, vinturi fast decant
    Brooding, dark ox blood
    SUPER HIGH alcohol 16.3% CRAZY
    Full bodied, some green hints off the nose, coupled with oak and vanilla, and cardamon
    Dry, tannic,syrupy, candy apple,some fennel, medium finish,

    Pleasantly surprised with this effort.

    August 18, 2013 - The wine was opaque and glass staining. A monster and dense. Brambly fruit highlighting blackberry, black raspberry, oak and led pencil. A wine before its time. This needs lots of time or at least a cold winter's night by the fire! Oh - tannins and acidity were in check. Very balanced.
