February 25, 2014 - Decent dessert drink. Served with a apple crisp and ice cream. Nice compliment, port like, but does not compare with a vintage port. Good enough wine, but not worth the $46 I paid.

It flows with layers of mixed dark fruits, plum reduction, raisin, vanilla, caramel and floral notes. What is so amazing is how balanced this is, delivering the fruit in a graceful, almost elegantly fashion for such a powerful wine that boasts 17.9% alcohol. Delicious now, but would certainly like to see this again after a few years of cellaring. (Best 2015-2024) - March, 2013 (JD)
