December 30, 2010 - Popped and poured, while watching the Blazers beat the Jazz for the 2nd time this week. Nose of must, and dark fruit. Medium bodied w/casis notes, along w/some mocha. Rustic, and an uneven balance of acid & tannin. I've been wanting to like these '01 & '02 cabs from Stonestreet, but the bottom line is, they are simply lacking in being anything close to an exemplary cabernet from Alexander Valley. October 23, 2009 - Fine one dimensional but ripe dark red fruit.
Some heat on the finish. Not showing the best balance, but a nice robust rustic character. -

March 6, 2006 - An impressive cab for the money (low $20's). Good aromas which develops as it sits longer. Nice finish. Plan to use as a house cab for a while.
