April 21, 2024 - Nase: Brombeerkompott, etwas Orangenfrische, mit Luft recht schnell tertiäre Aromen. Mund: angenehme Säure, kaum Tannin, merkbare Süße

April 10, 2018 - Pure ruby red, on the darker side. Very fruit driven in the nose. Complex layers of cherries, spices, hints of earthy notes. Strong mouthfeel, still a lot going on here. Long, but not extremely long.
Came out of the cellar and was not decanted. With time it grew longer and more balanced. Wonderful drinking window now, but no hurry. Give it some air if you open it today. All in all a wonderful effort. A strong, but not overpowering Blaufränkisch. A very confident wine that can be enjoyed solo or with food. It would be interesting to see it compared to some Nebbiolos.
