  December 30, 2023 - Opened for 90 minutes (no decant). Intense dark cherry fruit. Medium body. Decent finish. Not quite as much depth and complexity as other Girard mountain cabs, which may be an indication that it has reached the backside of the optimal drinking window. Still a very good cab. 90-91.

  September 16, 2023 - I have liked this more, its already beginning to become somewhat disorganized, has shown better balance of fruit and tannins, gave it an othernight and that did not help. Drink up

  June 25, 2022 - Great nose, great dark cassis flavors. Still enough tannin to have a bite, but smooth. Nice enough acid too to round out the experience. Approaching "teeth sucking" good and from me that is a high compliment. A very healthy dose of sediment at the end, but unfiltered wine is good wine.

  January 18, 2015 - Way too young. Left it uncorked for two nights, tho, and then it came to some life. Big Napa, dark dark purple, a lot of wood, tannins fairly balanced with fruit, should be a better choice in 4-5 years
