December 16, 2023 - Peach, honey and walnuts. Fantastic deep colour. Last bottle of this vintage

June 22, 2023 - This pours pale amber in the glass. The nose is low intensity but moderately complex showing apricot, tangerine, saffron, a hint of saline, light stony mineral, orange oil, and a touch of honey. The palate has retained tremendous freshness, and still much of its sweetness. It enters on tangerine turning to medium plus acid and moderate sweetness. The finish closes on, ripe peach, apricot, lightly metallic notes, a faint oyster note, and honey which all linger nicely. The faint metallic touch here holds this back a tad, but otherwise this is totally intact, enjoyable and fresh. Above expectations.

April 30, 2023 - The first of four bottles that came out of an older estate. I opened the worst looking one with the cork protruding a bit at the top and a slightly low fill level. Cork was somewhat soft and broke near the bottom. First sip underwhelming but improved a lot pretty quickly. Not as sweet and doesn't have the full body of the best sauternes. There's almost a slight spiciness, hard to describe. Was more enjoyable the deeper into the bottle. Looking forward to the remaining bottles.

December 11, 2021 - Great Sauternes, the Sweetness mellowed down. The taste of dried apricot was prevalent in every sip.

May 18, 2020 - Blind Wine Industry Guys (Eric's House, Hong Kong): Served blind. Gold colour that looks like lighter fuel. Nose is white mushrooms and white flowers. Palate is young mandarin orange... high citric acidity. Candied lemon from a childhood Christmas. Palate is lovely high bright acidity, light and elegant moderate coppery-ness and super light balance. Heady and resonant. A lovely end to a long night. 90+
