September 15, 2023 - Austrian Estate Visits; 9/13/2023-9/15/2023 (In and around the Wachau valley): This had been opened 2 days prior. Dull yellow. Supple yellow orchard fruit and vanilla with a hint of toffee. Very good acidity, nice flow, subtle soil base. Mature, moderate intensity.

November 12, 2022 - More evolved than previous bottle. Quite rich and dense on nose and palate, fragrant. A little fat and tired on the palate. Very mineral and long. Drink. 90-92

April 30, 2022 - Dense and concentrated, notes of herbs, crushed stones, yellow stone fruit and pepper on the nose. Good acidity on the palate, a little bitter. Lots of fruit and minerality, complex, concentrated, rich. Fine length. Drink (or keep). 92-94

August 9, 2018 - At tasting. Brief note. Pours a pale straw yellow in the glass. Nose and palate show ripe tropical fruits alongside zesty lime, fresh mown lawn, and flinty minerals. Midpalate has searing acid that keeps the tropical fruits in check giving this great focus. Medium (+) finish is very mineral driven with great cut and allows the lime to shine through the tropical fruits beautifully.

February 8, 2015 - Very ripe with some tropical guava, tinned pineapple things going on. There are grassy, slate and cracked pepper notes to counter. It is rich, heady and textured and very long. One glass is enough.
