  October 20, 2013 - Ripe aging red to black fruit with hints of vanilla from oak. Some chewy tobacco notes and tannin, though subtle. Balanced by mellow lemon acidity. Opened up with time in glass to black cherry. Loads of length and lingers on tongue. Delightful wine at its peak.

  February 20, 2013 - starting to show its age. Still has a nice length to the finish, but the fruit is fading. A very nice bottle for the price and if you find it on a list or in store it will be an excellent purchase for the price...just don't hold it too long.

  December 30, 2012 - Still drinkining well with good reserves of fruit, if a little less intense than when first tasted. No hurry to drink remaining bottles, but seems unlikely to improve.
