August 3, 2010 - Deep garnet with some brick. Nose is still juicy and sweet, a little sourness but still inviting. Sweet red fruit attack, tannins have disappeared almost totally, and midpalate is thinning out. Solid finish. My first old wine experience, but I can't believe there is any justification to age further. Very pleasing and approachable stuff.

December 24, 2009 - This was faded, but still showed quite nicely. Smooth, great balance, with classic cabernet flavors, albeit a bit dulled. Drink it up.
