November 15, 2015 - Sour cherry and leather on the nose, which isn't as well developed as I'd like. The palate has similar notes, but again, it's not quite as developed as I prefer. That said, it's still a good value. Went well with a filet mignon and new potatoes with Italian seasoning.

July 22, 2015 - PnP. Great nose, has some surprising French-like funkiness to it, with pencil lead and petroleum. Delicious on the palate. Medium-bodied, but delivers dark berry flavors from attack to finish. I just opened this, and expect it to improve over the next few minutes. Not my first dance with this bottle, and it never disappoints. This is $16.99 where I got it, and it's potentially case-worthy.
